The Legislative Aide, Ikole Ward 1, Ootunja Ekiti, Ikole Local Government, Mr. Nifesimi Ogungbe, has commended Honourable Akin Rotimi for his immense contributions to his constituency.
In a statement made available to newsmen, Ogungbe highlighted Rotimi’s dedication to the people of Ikole/Oye 1.
His words, “This milestone is a testament to your unwavering dedication to the people of Ikole/Oye 1, your exemplary role as the spokesperson of the House, and your inspiring contributions to young people and human capacity development,” Ogungbe stated.

According to Ogungbe,” Rotimi’s service reflects a deep commitment to improving lives and fostering progress. His work on key committees, such as Constitution Review, Interior, Foreign Affairs, and Public Accounts, demonstrates his readiness to address critical national issues.
“Rotimi’s focus on empowering young people and building human capacity was also highlighted. Through initiatives like Ekiti Connect, he has created opportunities for growth and collaboration, inspiring the next generation to take an active role in society.
“The constituency has witnessed verifiable infrastructure developments, and individuals have benefited from seminars and workshops, including those held in China and Taiwan. Additionally, widows, artisans, farmers, and people with disabilities have been supported.
Ogungbe also commended Rotimi’s humanitarian efforts, particularly through the Samuel Akintunde Silva Foundation (SASCARE Foundation), which supports military widows, mental health, medical missions, and elderly care.
“Rotimi’s leadership in humanitarian missions across Nigeria and other countries underscores his dedication to peacebuilding and social protection for vulnerable populations, his philosophy, “together, we are greater than the sum of our individual parts,” resonates in his ability to mobilize partnerships for underserved communities.
