The Regional Commander of the Sophia Ajayi Region Command, RS Major General Pius Ogunjobi, on Saturday led a distinguished delegation of senior officers to the wedding ceremony of RS Major Bamidele Samuel, the Divisional Commandant of Ikere-Ekiti.

The marriage ceremony, held at Four Square Church, Idi Isin, Ikere-Ekiti, Nigeria, attracted top-ranking officials including, RS Tayo Omidiji, RS Major Farotimi Micheal ( The Regional treasurer) , Regional Training Officer, RS Captain Temitope Oguntoyinbo, the Ado Divisional Commandant, RS Major Michael Ogunmodede, alongside several senior officers who turned out to honour the couple.

A key highlight of the event was sword of Honour mounted by Royal Shepherd officers immediately after the church service, reflecting discipline, respect, and celebration for the newlyweds
In his homily, the Pastor-in-Charge, Pastor Ojo admonished the newly wedded couple to love one another wholeheartedly, stressing that God dwells in any home where true love and understanding flourish. He reminded them that marriage is a sacred covenant that requires patience, forgiveness and mutual commitment.

The pastor charged the wife to remain submissive in line with biblical principles, while also urging the husband to cherish, honour and respect his wife at all times. He added that when both partners play their God-given roles diligently, peace, progress and divine blessings will abound in their home.

The ceremony was marked by joy, camaraderie and heartfelt support as RS Major Bamidele Samuel and his wife began their new journey together.
